Making assessment planning easier to understand through clear, engaging animation. Created for Network Rail, the film helps assessors communicate expectations, build confidence and support staff development.
The problem.
Effective assessments are essential to maintaining competence and confidence across the railway industry. However, balancing assessment planning with everyday operational responsibilities can be challenging.
Assess Tech needed, for their client Network Rail a way to communicate the importance of preparation, clear expectations and ongoing communication, helping assessors create a more positive and productive assessment experience.
The approach.
The animation breaks down the assessment planning process into clear, manageable stages, making a potentially complex training subject easier to understand.
Through bespoke illustrations, character design and animation, I brought the story to life, showing how assessors can prepare candidates, share performance criteria and encourage individuals to take greater ownership of their development.
The focus was on delivering information in an accessible, engaging format while reinforcing the importance of competence, confidence and continuous improvement.
